The Pimp was once an average Joe drafted with thousands of other young men into the Vietnam conflict.
While returning home from his tour of duty, an alien aircraft collided with his transport plane. Everyone survived except for him.
Our government rebuilt him with the alien technology recovered from the crash and programmed him to hunt down and kill the survivors of the wreck to ensure their silence.
Somehow he overrode his programming and escaped back to the streets from whence he came, assuming the guise of a flamboyant street pimp.
